The days are getting warmer and longer and our thoughts turn to summer and how to fill those days with meaningful activities as well as down time for dreaming and reflection. It's an opportunity to explore ideas and expand our imaginations. It's a time to do and learn something new.
For older students, the elementary camps provide an environment to expand on and reinforce concepts covered in the school term. This year's camp theme, "Cultural Experience", allows our campers to broaden their knowledge of geography, history and science and bring away from their camp experience a deeper understanding of our world.
For the younger student, it may be a time to make the adjustment from home or another preschool to our Primary Campus; to learn social skills and make friends. Our camp theme, "Passport to Adventure", will open the minds and excite the imaginations of our young campers.
All new students to the Primary or Elementary Campuses are expected to attend at least one summer session. This provides a smoother fall transition and an opportunity to fully assess the academic level and needs of the new student.
We welcome all children to our summer camps between the ages of 3 years and 12 years. The Montessori curriculum is taught worldwide and offers a unique approach to learning on an individual level.
