Serving Salinas and the Monterey Bay Area for over 40 years, Montessori Learning Center has provided a warm, positive and stimulating educational community in which each child feels secure, respected and supported. The Montessori Learning Center Primary Program (for ages 2 ½ to 5 years old) opened it’s doors in 1973 and later in 1996 the Elementary Program (ages 6 to 12 ) was founded.
The Montessori Learning Center nurtures and guides children from ages 2 to 12 years. Our belief is that every bright mind deserves a challenge. We provide the challenge through a commitment to a quality education in a positive and stimulating learning environment.
Our goal is to provide a warm, positive, and stimulating learning community, in which each child feels secure, respected, and supported. Our aim is to develop motivated, self-reliant individuals, and to actively prepare them for their lifelong pursuit of intellectual, emotional, and personal growth. This is done by providing a diverse a challenging academic program, designed to promote problem solving and critical thinking abilities. Our objective is to inspire and challenge students who respect and are aware of their responsibility to each other, the world community, and the environment.
